NABINGKALAN BLOOM SERIES

Nabingkalan bloom is a series shoots of San Carlos’ flowers. I took the photographs within the years 2002-2004. From my early childhood, I tried playing the yellow and white ornamental flowers naturally blooming in our plaza; the colorful daisies in our school garden spaces; so rich that few of us have culturally ( and ecologically) take care of.  Our flora life is historically etched in our city’s history, mention the place called Hacienda Neguri, visitors of the place would  not fail to visit the beautiful garden of the late Mrs. Ana Dineros  (an elementary school teacher in the 1960’s).

So, Pinta Flowers is not just a painted revelry in our place, rather it is a real and unique identity of our colorful place - of our colorful hearts - of our colorful lives.

Nabingkalan bloom attempts to preserve and encourage to re-invigorate our great “flower tradition.”
